MS Dhoni, the India captain, has said that adjusting to the ICC’s revised playing conditions regarding Powerplays will be “tricky” during the ODI series against England, which begins in Hyderabad on October 14. The changes to the playing conditions took effect on October 1, and India and England will be using them for the first time in this series.Teams will have to start the batting and bowling Powerplays at the beginning of any over between the 16th and the 36th over for a full game. Under the previous playing conditions, teams could begin the Powerplays from the start of the 11th over to the start of the 46th over.”It’s a bit tricky as we have not yet played any match under this new Powerplay,” Dhoni told . “It would certainly need a different approach as the second and third Powerplay will now be taken within the 16th and the 40th over.”Earlier, while chasing, teams would be happy to keep the batting Powerplay for the last five overs. But now we have to make few changes in tactics. It will have different results till we get used to it.”The other major change to the playing conditions is the use of two new balls – one from either end – during an innings. The mandatory change of ball that took place at the end of the 34th over has been done away with. Dhoni said this amendment could reduce the amount of reverse swing because each ball will be only 25-overs-old.”A bit of swing will definitely be there but there may not be as much reverse swing as we expect in the subcontinent,” he said. “Now the reverse swing also depends a lot on the nature of outfield and how you make the ball, but of course legally.”The home ODIs against England are India’s first international matches since the poor summer in England, where they lost the Test series 0-4 and the ODIs 0-3. It was primarily the inability of India’s bowlers to contain that led to the defeats in the ODIs.”During the tour of England, performance of the batsmen was impressive. Here we have a different bowling department and it’s an opportunity for them to do well in home conditions,” Dhoni said. “They have played a lot of IPL but this will be a different ball game.”We have had a few youngsters who did well in England. Also the wickets were very different out there. For us what matters most is good performance in all three departments.”

O árbitro Paulo Roberto Alves Júnior tomou decisões que irritaram a equipe americana, principalmente com critérios diferentes para lances similares. Em um deles, Gérson Magrão matou contra-ataque e recebeu o cartão amarelo, diferente de jogadores da Chape que fizeram o mesmo. Ao fim do confronto, Enderson e a comissão técnica do América entraram em campo para reclamar dessas e outras interpretações da arbitragem.

– O que mais me chateia em arbitragem é a falta de critério. De árbitro para árbitro, temos que entender, porque são pessoas diferentes, com pensamentos diferentes. O que vemos muito e que irrita jogadores e comissão técnica é num mesmo jogo. É difícil para a gente controlar – disse.

O treinador americano admitiu que, em situações como essa, jogadores e integrantes dos clubes podem falar algo impróprio. Enderson ressaltou que a arbitragem deve punir esses casos.

-Isso é uma coisa que machuca a gente. Somos profissionais e estamos defendendo esse clube com unhas e dentes. Sabendo da desigualdade que existe na competição e ponto. Sabemos e não vamos dar justificativa para nada. O América poderia estar numa situação melhor, claro. Poderia estar numa situação pior, também. O mais importante é que possamos seguir nosso caminho, sabendo exatamente o que temos, brigando e lutando a cada partida com unhas e dentes para fazer com que o América conquiste seu principal objetivo na temporada. Não vai ser fácil, sabemos disso. O mínimo que a gente espera é que as pessoas que estão diretamente envolvidas com o jogo possam se respeitar – finalizou.

Duncan Fletcher, the newly-appointed India coach, is likely to fly down to Chennai on May 13 to be part of the selection meeting to pick the squad for the one-day series in the West Indies next month. It has been understood that Fletcher was keen to attend the meeting as that would also allow him to get acquainted with his new bosses as well as the selectors and MS Dhoni, the India captain who will also be in the city which is the base of Chennai Super Kings, his IPL franchise.Fletcher, who was England coach for eight years, took over his new assignment immediately after Gary Kirsten decided not to renew his contract with the BCCI at the end of the World Cup. Fletcher’s appointment is for two years and though both the employer and employee have not revealed the terms of the contract, it is believed to be the same as that of Kirsten. That means Fletcher will reportedly not have any selectorial vote, but will be present during the selection meetings along with Dhoni.Also present at the meeting on Wednesday would be Eric Simons, who worked with Fletcher at Western Province in the first half of the 1990s. Simons, picked by Kirsten two years ago to be part of his support staff two years ago, was retained as the bowling coach by the Indian board. Simons is likely to play the role of the interim coach for the Caribbean tour after the BCCI said that Fletcher might not be part of the West Indies tour as he had prior commitments to fulfill. In that case Fletcher will start his innings against England, a team he built from scratch eventually leading to Ashes glory in 2005.

تحدث محمد الشاذلي المتحدث الرسمي لوزارة الشباب والرياضة، عن أزمة فريق بيراميدز ضد قرارات اتحاد الكرة ورابطة الأندية المصرية، موضحًا حرص وزارة الشباب والرياضة على زيادة الاستثمار في كافة المجالات الرياضية.

وكان قد أكد أشرف صبحي في بيان رسمي أول أمس الجمعة، حرص الدولة على استمرار الاستثمارات على أرض مصر، وجاء ذلك ردًا على البيان الذى أصدره رئيس بيراميدز، سالم الشمسي، ضد قرارات اتحاد الكرة ورابطة الأندية ضد فريق الكرة، خلال الفترة الماضية، موضحًا تأثيرها على مشواره ببطولة الدوري المصري.

وقال محمد الشاذلي في تصريحات تلفزيونية عبر قناة “المحور”: “لدينا توجهات في وزارة الرياضة بزيادة الاستثمار، وحققنا 28 مليون جنيه أرباح من الاستثمارات في كافة المجالات الرياضية”.

وأكد: “نسعى للحفاظ على جميع التجارب الاستثمارية في الرياضة المصرية”.

واختتم: “هناك اجتماع مع مسؤولي بيراميدز خلال 48 ساعة، لن نتطرق في هذا الاجتماع عن أي أمور فنية، ولكن سنتحدث عن فكرة الاستثمار، وحل المشاكل التي تواجههم”.

أعرب مرتضى منصور رئيس مجلس إدارة نادي الزمالك عن حزنه على خسارة فريق الكرة الأول أمام أسوان، موجهًا سيل من الانتقادات لحكم المباراة أمين عمر.

وكان الزمالك قد نال خسارته على يد فريق أسوان في مباراة الجولة 11 من عمر الدوري المصري، فيما استطاع الأهلي تحقيق الفوز على بيراميدز.

وقال منصور في مداخلة هاتفية ببرنامج “زملكاوي”: “حزين مثل جماهير الزمالك على الخسارة، لي بعض الملاحظات على مباراتي الزمالك أمام أسوان، والأهلي ضد بيراميدز لأن جماهير الفريقين كان يهمهم نتائج المباراتين”.

وأضاف: “لن أتدخل ولن أجلس مع فيريرا لأنني لن أفهم مثله، هو عليه أن يصلح من أخطائه الفنية، هو مدرب عالمي حتى وإن كنت رئيسًا لنادي الزمالك منذ 20 عامًا فلن أفهم في الفنيات مثله”.

وواصل: “فيريرا يتحمل المسؤولية حتى نهاية الموسم، ويتبقي 23 جولة في الدوري والمشوار ما زال طويلًا، لا يوجد لدي أخطاء إدارية لدينا أخطاء فنية، لو هناك أخطاء إدارية سأجلس معه”.

واستكمل: “لا أتفق مع تصريحات رئيس نادي أسوان، فريق الزمالك تعرض للإهانة في أسوان ولم يتم استقباله أفضل استقبال، هذه ليست جماهير أسوان، ومحمود شيكابالا واحد من أصحاب البلد تعرض للسباب والإهانة هناك”.

وكشف: “أولادنا تعرضوا للسباب والضرب أمامك، صبية مأجورين من النادي المنافس، وهم يعلمون أنه عندما يتم توجيه السباب لشيكابالا يخرج عن شعوره، وحافلة الزمالك تعرضت للتكسير في أسوان”.

ووجه منصور رسالة إلى جمال علام عضو اتحاد الكرة: “توجد مذكرة رسمية ضد أمين عمر لكي لا يدير مباريات الزمالك لأنه والده يدونان على صفحتهما عبر منصات التواصل الاجتماعي إنهما يشجعان الأهلي”.

واستكمل: “أمين عمر يكره نفسه والزمالك، لنا ركلتي جزاء على الأقل يراهما الأعمى، وعلى تقنية الفار عمر الشناوي نجل أحمد الشناوي الذي يعمل لدى أحمد شوبير”.

وتابع منصور هجومه: “أريد أن أرى رجلًا من لجنة الحكام حتى أصفعه على وجهه، لأن ما يحدث ليس رياضة، أمين عمر كاره للزمالك وتختاره لتحكيم مبارايتنا، هل تصدق نفسك يا جمال علام أنك رئيسًا لاتحاد الكرة”.

رئيس أسوان: لم نستغل الفرص أمام الزمالك وكنا قادرين على تحقيق فوز كبير

واستأنف: “أين الباشا حازم إمام؟ قدمنا مذكرة أن أمين عمر لا يحكم مباريات للزمالك، أؤكد على مسؤوليتي أن المسؤول عن لجنة الحكام هو أحمد شوبير، أتصلنا بجمال علام وحازم إمام وخالد الدرندلي لم يردوا علينا، لجنة الحكام فاشلة”.

وأضاف: “أمين عمر جاء من أجل الإنهاء على الزمالك، نستحق ضربة جزاء يا (منحرف)، واتحاد الكرة منحرف، أقسم بالله إذا رأيتك يا أمين عمر تحكم للزمالك مرة أخرى، سألقيك خارج الملعب، هذا مستوى التحكيم المصري”.

وأشار: “لا أزمة لدينا في فوز أسوان على الزمالك، هدفي أسوان صحيحين وقدموا مباراة كبير لكن نريد حقنا ليس أكثر نبحث عن العدالة فقط، حذرت اليوم أن الزمالك لن يشارك في هذا المسلسل الهزلي، الأهلي يلعب بمفرده في الدوري، يوجد قرار أن مرتضى منصور لا يفوز بثلاثة دوري متتالي”.

واختتم: “يجب على فيريرا أن يصلح من أخطائه و(يبطل) عناد”.
